Kannon (Quan Yin) resides within ourselves and grants our deepest wishes when we approach her with pure and open hearts. She is drawn in her wish-fulfilling form and printed on traditional Kozo paper. The black paper is hand brushed with sumi ink and the yellow is dyed with a combination of watercolor and turmeric harvested from the artist's farm. To achieve the yin yang, the same plate is used with alternate color inks.
